I just love Thai food and one of my favorite dishes is a fresh salad, often known as Thai Beef Salad or Thai Steak Salad. Last week, I had it at a restaurant in Seattle and where it was called "Crying Tiger". I am going to attempt to make this dish tomorrow night for a dinner party with friends. I will post the recipe and the details of how it went and if there is anything I would do differently tomorrow. Here's to a successful cooking experiment!

My husband loves breakfast on the weekends, but he is picky about his breakfast potatoes. I tried all sorts of the options which were easy out there (frozen, pre-cute fresh, etc) but none were quite right. The potatoes would get mushy and not brown properly. Then one day I had a few red potatoes left over from a recipe and decided to dice them up and see how it went and this recipe was born for the perfect breakfast potatoes!
